School closure

1.45pm Announcement from government : Level 3 and moving to level 4 in 48 hours

Dear parents

In these very challenging times, we all have to make huge but hopefully short term changes in order to protect each other from this invisible enemy – the Covid-19 virus.

This means, while we have no known cases at our wonderful school, our school will close on Wednesday 25 March at 3pm until 28th April. For the next two days, if your children can stay home - then please keep them at home. If you are working in an essential industry - your children can still come to school for Tuesday and Wednesday - School will then be closed for everyone.

Please keep an eye on our website  www.viscount.school.nz as we will post updates there and send out messages on the school ap.

Homework packs

These packs have been given out on Monday 23 March. if you didnt get a pack for your child, you can come to the school hall Tuesday or Wednesday. 7.30am-3.00pm to pick one up.

Our staff has worked hard to prepare these homework packs for each of your children. This pack contains work they need to do while they are at home.

Teacher contact

Our teachers will contact you by txt or phone to see how your children are going with their homework packs as we want everyone to keep learning during the school shut-down time.

Keep strong everyone – we will get through this - Look after each other.
