Principal’s Message

Kia ora, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Faka lofa lahi atu, Kia orana, Bula, Namaste

I love coming to Viscount School each school day. Your children are well mannered and keen to learn and this tells me what a great job you are doing in what will sometimes be difficult circumstances.

I have been working closely with the Board and the school staff to work on delivering a high-quality learning programme in a safe environment.  Our teachers work hard and it is great to see so many students making great progress in their learning. We have also been focused on wanting to make you, our families,  feel welcome at school and take the time to celebrate and share the rich diversity of knowledge, cultural knowledge and skills as well as get to know the history of the Mangere area. We also want you to join us in planning future directions for the school.

In the meantime, we making improvements to the school buildings and the playground to sort out some Health and Safety issues and working on improving the school’s classrooms.

This means we are busy but never too busy to talk with you and try to work together with you to give your children the best education we can.

My door is usually always open and I love to meet you, hear your comments and help you with any concerns.

Kia Kaha.
Let’s work together
